Folia With a heavy heart and after much debate and soul searching, we need to let everyone know that we will be closing Folia. One of the main problems is that our aging codebase is beginning to have maintenance, compliance and security issues which we, unfortunately, cannot dedicate the time to in order to bring the site up to a level where we can keep it online safely. We’ve tried really hard to keep Folia alive over the years, however as you most likely know much of the last couple of years the site has mainly been on auto-pilot with us hoping that nothing was going to break that needed our time. To help with this, we closed to new accounts last year in an attempt to minimise spam accounts and moderation requirements, however in doing this we knew we were creating a small closed community that will now never grow and one that we cannot be truly engaged with: this is not an ideal |
